Introducing the newest Filmy's Girl, Aurora! 

 

Aurora is an all-new, all-original concept never before seen in the resin kit industry.

 

This 8-in-1 Customizing Kit was designed by Filmy and illustrated by the uber-talented Simon Eckert. She was sculpted by Sean KB, with molding and casting by the Master Caster himself, Joel Nelson.

Growing up, Aurora was Daddy's little girl. Her daddy loved to build models - especially garage kits! - and twenty-five years ago he attended his first model show in Louisville, Kentucky. The show was called Wonderfest, and he returned home with a suitcase full of resin and a renewed passion for the hobby. He was so fired up that when his new baby girl was born six weeks later, he named her Aurora.

Now twenty-five years old, Aurora followed in her daddy's footsteps. She loves GKs and she can wield an airbrush with the best of 'em.

Just like AMT's 3-in-1 model car kits back in the 60s, Aurora is the first Filmy's Girls Customizing Kit!  She comes with two different heads, two different right arms, and four different mini-models. You can build her holding her airbrush with a look of intense concentration as she paints a dragon (pictured), a cool tank, a '57 Chevy, or a vampire! Or you can build her looking directly at the viewer with a smile on her face, her arm perched jauntily on her right hip, as she shows you one of the four included mini-models.

And that's not all!

You can build her just from the base kit and customize her as you like, OR - if you're feeling more ambitious - you can purchase the Aurora Accessory Kit and build a diorama that includes many of the parts to build out her workshop! The Accessory Kit includes her model bench, paint booth, and compressor. 

 

Like all of our kits, Aurora includes a signed, personalized Certificate of Authenticity, a signed and numbered base with holographic Original GK stickers, a printed color photograph of the finished kit, and a full-color 7" die-cut Filmy's Girls vinyl bumper sticker, all carefully hand-wrapped in our legendary packaging complete with full-color box art.
